Password Managers Explained: One Strong Lock for Everything

When a website is hacked, criminals try the leaked passwords on email, games and banking. If you reuse a password, one leak can open every door.

A password manager fixes this. You remember one strong passphrase, and it creates and remembers a different strong password for every account.

Bonus: it only fills in passwords on the real website, so it quietly refuses on lookalike pages.

Most phones and browsers have one built in. Passkeys go further: you sign in with your face or fingerprint, with no password to steal.

The rule from the episode: different doors, different keys.
