Kids are welcome to watch, play the games and take the quizzes. None of these ask for a name, email, address or any other personal information. There are no child accounts, sign-ups or contact forms on this site. If you believe a child has sent us information, email hello@phishmael.com and we will delete it.
What we collect from adults
Only what you choose to give us: your name and email address when a parent, carer or teacher (18+) signs up for our free resources or newsletter; your contact details and message when you send a school, business or partnership enquiry; and order details when you buy something (payments are handled by our payment provider, and we never see your full card details).
How we use it
To send what you asked for, answer your enquiry and deliver your order. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with sponsors.
Site analytics
To learn which episodes, games and lessons help most, and to fix what doesn't work, we use PostHog analytics. It records how the site is used: pages visited, buttons and links tapped, quiz and game answers, video plays, page speed and errors, the device and browser type, and an approximate location worked out from the internet address. It also records anonymous replays of visits so we can see where people get stuck; anything typed into a form is hidden from those replays. Each browser gets a random ID stored in a cookie, so we can tell new visitors from returning ones. We don't use it for advertising, we don't sell it, and we never link it to a child's name or contact details. A browser's "block cookies" or ad-blocking settings will stop it.
Videos
Episodes are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. When you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@phishmael.com.
