Apps Want Everything
Bubbles holds job interviews for the apps that want to live on her new tablet. A drawing app wants her photos: hired. Sharkley's Torch Fantastic wants her contacts, location, microphone and messages: rejected. Octavia gives Gary's phone a privacy check-up.
Today's rule: Only say yes to what the app needs.
What kids learn
- Apps ask to use your camera, location and contacts
- Ask: does it need that to work?
- Not sure? Say no and ask a grown-up

Talk about it together
- Sit down together and look at Settings, then Privacy, then Permissions on your child's device.
- Ask of each app: does it need this to work?
- Set location to 'never' or 'only while using' for apps that don't need it, and turn off location on photos.
- Encourage your child to tap 'Don't Allow' when unsure and ask you.
